2009/5/31 Children's DayTomorrow comes the Children's Day, one of my favourite holidays. The long long May vacation has gone. I have training from tomorrow, say the US GAAP introduction course. Hope that I can get up enough early to start class on time. As for the CICPA, I'm still focusing on the accounting paper. Yet I have not begun with the auditing and tax paper. What a shame! I am just too addicted to Sanguosha recently. But really, the game is cool. I've introduced the game to almost all my close friends. They are loving the game as well! We had a get-together playing the game the day before yesterday. It feels so glad to have seen all of you again after so long a time. We have to admit it's not easy to meet each other after the graduation. Everyone get a job and is busy with working. Shirlley even came to the party after overtime working on a holiday. Anyhow, let's look forward to a coming new party. Potato is planning to return to the country one month later. Wow! The return of F4! Let's wait and see~ 2009/5/15 UntitledSuddenly, in the so-called economic crisis, I find there comes lots of training courses on my following staffing. Good news! I haven't seen so long ranged training agenda there after my first year Core Audit training. Hope I can learn some thing new from these coming courses, especially the US GAAP related ones. Since my joining the firm, I really rarely have been involved in some Integrated Audit engagements. Over and over, I'm dealing with the new PRC GAAP and some IFRS conversions. Not bad, not good. But actually, US GAAP is good and advanced. To earn some SOX and US GAAP knowledge is essential and will definitely do some good.
For one week, there has no progress made on the profit forecast. Maybe the client is just in struggling whether to get on listed anyhow this year, or not. Frankly speaking, even it succeeds, the issuing price could be pretty low and won't bring any big money in deed. By the way, the A share market is going well for weeks. We should just protect the trend, The restriction in new IPO, I think it's one way has worked.
Thanks for the econonmic crisis, I have begun the leave much earlier than last year's leave. As for the first week, I get up late everyday, read some CPA accounting books and watch some Hollywood movies. Most of them are Hollywood made. I'm downloading Transformers the Movie One. I'd like to go through these Autobots before 24 June, show time of the Second Volume. Also, I'm catching the 24 Hours season 7. Mr Bauer is quite dead, but never will. You can understand that why people call him Xiao Qiang on the internet. At least, he is going to survive another 24 hours again in the next season 8. That's his last contracted season with FOX. Yep. There was a interesting joke I saw after season 4. Say the Bauer had saved the world for 4 times and taken 93 people killed within 96 hours BUT WHAT YOU DID? Sounds satiric, right? Well. I'm afraid we just killed 96 hours in the sofa with the chips. lol!
Anyhow, leave is good. Training is good. Paycheck is good. The May Holiday is just like some weekend. Anyhow, I have had good rest. Although I stay late every day, it feels so good to sleep till lunch time or even later. On the May 1st, I went for the 100 Days of Birth Celebration of Kang's little son. His home is really far away from mine. It took me half and an hour to cross the downtown and got arrival at his Nanhui home. Yang and Liu had already there. The last time I met you, I remember that was Kang's wedding day, one year ago. Wow, time is quick. Or I should say Kang's quick, our big bro creditably! I guess Yang will be the next of my dorm to get married. Hehee~
Before the holiday, most of the accounts have been finalized and been waiting for just mail. It's good, three months, we finally got something done. However, in the next week, the profit forecast review is assigned to be performed. I may fly to Qiqihar again. Peak season passes and new comes. I should put time on reading some CPA books. No matter how good we did on the job, it would not bring the CPA qualification. Personally, CPA is the way out, but never will the job be. So, just put the job aside and do some real important things. |
